Why: Because currently there is only one place to get beer with only a limit of two beers. Plus there are only four different types of beer to choose from.

A pipe fitter, Duane La Chance, suffered third-degree burns while installing new pipes on the roof of the Springfield Municipal Power Plant.
Delayed Identification Lead:
An employee of Gross Engineers suffered third-degree burns yesterday while working on the roof of Springfield Municipal Power Plant.
Duane La Chance, 55, was listed in serious condition Wednesday night in the intensive care unit at Springfield Hospital after he touched a power line carrying 15,000 volts with a piece of angle iron.
CAR ACCIDENT:

James W. Cunning, 20, and Wayne Clay, 19, were in a car accident yesterday on U.S. 63 just one-tenth of a mile north of Blue Ridge Road.
Delayed Identification Lead:
Two young teenagers were involved in a car accident yesterday afternoon on U.S. 63 just one-tenth of a mile north of Blue Ridge Road.
Wayne Clay, 19, crossed over the centerline and struck James W. Cunning, 20, vehicle, according to an officer in the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.

Gingerbread Man-
Direct Lead: The chase through the enchanted forest for the smart-alecky Gingerbread Man was finally ended yesterday when he was out smarted by a sly fox.
Delayed Lead: As the Gingerbread Man finally ran out of road and was about to be caught by the hungry old women, the hungry pig, the hungry cow, and the hungry horse a sly fox came out from behind a tree to help. Yet that sly fox was also hungry and once he got the Gingerbread man to the other side of the river he eat the Gingerbread Man.

Missing Boy
Monday night a 7-year-old boy missing for three years was found in Brick Township, New Jersey.
Police arrested the boy's mother, Ellen Lynn Conner, 27, who faces charges of kidnapping and interference with a custody warrant after a neighbor recognized the child's picture after watching a movie and called the police.

Forty passengers were evacuated from a Northwest Airlines jet Wednesday following a flight from Minneapolis.
A landing tower employee at the LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Municipal Airport spotted smoke near the wheels of Flight 428 and radio for the evacuation.
